La Meridiana - סורנטו

מלון עם חניה צמודה במרכז סורנטו. מרחק הליכה של כ- חמש דקות בלבד מהרחוב המרכזי, מהקניות והמסעדות. מרחק קצר לנמל, ניתן ללכת ברגל לנמל, שממנו לוקחים שיט.קיבלנו חדר מאד מרווח ומצויד היטב, המחיר כלל ארוחת בוקר משביעה.

המבנה קצת מיושן, מעלית איטית ואין בריכה( מי שמעונין בבריכה). אין אינטרנט.

The hotel staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. Very near to the rail and bus station and fairly central with the bonus of being away from all the noisy traffic. Would definitely recommend it.

No safe in the rooms and no internet access. Also noted that in the summer you have to pay for air conditioning which surprised me in a 3* hotel.

The location was great.

Check in was very slow. Rooms are very basic. Breakfast was not great. Cleaning services were very noisy starting at 7:30/8 a.m. Would not reccomend or return to this place.

diffficult to locate the very small lane to the hotel if you are going from main station on the main street, no direction given.. Hotel charged me one night's price as gaurantee in advance that is not the normal process in Booked.net

Finally - a decent sized bathroom! The staff made up our room each day, clean towels are always nice. Breakfast was good - not many places in Italy have a toaster! The people on the front desk were very helpful, especially with information about the ferries and train times.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a location that was in close walking distance to shops, restaurants and the harbour. The staff were helpful at the front desk. We were delighted to discover a lemon grove across the street from our balcony and we enjoyed walking through it each day.

Breakfast is served until 9:30 but if you are not there early they do not replenish all the items that they start with when the breakfast room opens, such as fresh fruits, meats and yoghurt. They also serve canned fruit which we did not find very appealing.

This place is a good inner city Hotel for tourists. Supplied coordinates were very accurate with use of navigation system. Hotel is within a short walking distance from local shopping areas, with a good night life, and great dinning. I felt comfortable traveling with small children in the local area. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff was very welcoming and patient dealing with people who are not familiar with the area. The stay was overall very pleasant.

There is limited parking in the area. More information should be included on the Booked.net website about required documentation at check- in I.E. passports.

The hotel was great, it was a great price for a brilliant location. It was right around the cornor from the square. Like a 5 minute walk. Honestly if you have any doubts dont the hotel is great.

The only thing is there is no pool.

The hotel was not far from bus/rail station which was great and only a short walk away from the main square and bars/restaurants. It was also off of the main road opposite a lovely lemon grove and from the balcony you could see the beautiful sea views. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and breakfast ideal. The rooms were clean and comfortable and totally adequate for our stay in Sorrento. We would certainly use La Meridiana again and would also recommend it to others. A very enjoyable stay!

Just a small observation and that is that more clothes hangers could be provided in wardrobes.

The room was very nice, we had a view of the ocean and the neighboring orange grove. The breakfast was good with many varieties of breads, fruits, jams, coldcuts, cereals etc. The hotel was in short walking distance to stores and resturants. Having free parking is a definite plus in a city location. The staff was helpful in suggesting resturants and the location of the ferry to Capri. Its an nice place to stay.

Great location, free parking out front, lemon grove across the street, convenient for side-trips to Capri, etc.

Good value, good breakfast, and extremely helpful and friendly staff.
